EditNC - The CNC editor main screen This is editNC's main screen, showing a CNC program being edited. The user has set options to show sequence numbers in light blue, comments in dark blue, and to highlight blocks containing tool changes.
This shows the editor in view, or read-only mode. The large toolbar is also being used.
A general analysis has been performed on a CNC program. This reports min/max, tool changes, and other information.

Here, the user has rotated and magnified the image, and also has set the toolpath colors to change based on feedrate. The background color has also been changed. An arc (G3) move has been selected using the mouse, resulting in the display shown here.

This is a plot of a 4 axis wire EDM program. EditNC backplots most 3 axis machining center, 2 axis lathe, and 4 axis wire EDM CNC programs. Notice that the user has reconfigured the toolbars.
This shows one of the several methods of comparing CNC programs offered by editNC. Note that formatting differences are ignored here. For example, X01.1100 will equal X1.11 .

Setting DNC parameters One of the DNC setup screens is shown here. EditNC supports DNC using serial ports. Drip feeding for many machines is supported.

Sending a CNC program EditNC shows DNC controls when files are being transferred. Here, the user has requested that blocks be highlighted as they are sent.
